Her life had been turned upside down as soon as her cousin arrived, or so it seemed. Her only sibling had moved away a year prior and Bella had just been getting her first taste of life as an only child. And then she stepped in. Not that they didn't get along. They were just very different. She seemed quiet and Bella, well Bella was anything but quiet. Her eyes were held firmly closed as the early morning sun streamed through her blinds creating shapes of light and shadows on her royal blue comforter. Another morning, another day. Perhaps this one would be better than the last. Of course one never knows these types of things until they actually get up and start living their lives. So, shivering as her bare feet hit the hard wood Bella sat up making her way through her daily routine. Shower, dress, hair, make up, make bed, brush teeth, eat breakfast then pop a breath mint. Sure Bella could be a bit of a material girl and her father said that she cared a bit too much about how she looked, she didn't care. It wasn't as if she dressed or looked the way she did to impress somebody else. She did it to make herself feel good to build up her own self confidence. That had, at one time, been something she was lacking. Now sitting at the kitchen table she squinted as she glanced out the window. It was a beautiful day and that made her just a bit happier than she had been before. Dressed in a dark brown (pink polka dotted) tank top and a pair of snug vintage jeans she tapped her slender fingers against the table top impatiently awaiting the awakening of the rest of her family.

Anastasia awoke with a start as images of the horrible day flodded her dreams. Her chest rose and fell quickly as she looked around the guest room. It was boring and white, throwing back the heavy white comforter she stood andshoved her bare feet into a pair of gray slippers. Running a slender, pale hand through her medium length, dark hair, she went over to the window and drew back the curtains. Sun quickly blinded her, though only temporary, man, did it hurt. Squinting through the early morning sun Anna could make out the large barn, in which was housed the love of her life, Fixa. She sighed as she thought abotu the beautiful mare. Heading to the bath room she grabbed her brush and raked it through her unruly locks. When finally her mahogany hair was tamed she squirted a bit of toothpaste on her red tooth brush. Scrubbing her teeth in circles, she frowned as she discovered a nasty white head on her forehead. Rinsing and putting her brush away she attempted to pop the evil zit. Suceeding in ridding her perfect complexion from this blemish, she swept mascara over her long lashes and brushed a sheer gloss over her pink lips. Throwing her locks into a messy bun she trotted down the stairs to find Bella perched on a stool, her elbows resting on the island in their bright roomy kitchen.

A soft sigh escaped from her pink lips as she almost immediately lurched from her seat into an upright standing position. Her right hand sliding into her pocket (just her fingers being able to fit) she pulled out a virtually flat phone. Sliding the face for ward on its swivel hinges she read the message sent to her. The phone had been on vibrate there for making no noise though rudely rousing her from her day dreams. She smiled as she replied and set it back on the counter looking up and catching a glimpse of her cousin from the corner of her eye. "Hey." She said idly as she allowed her gaze to wander from the face of her relative back over to the window lingering there for a moment before continuing its journey around the kitchen.

Anna looked over at her cousin, Why the hell does she get dressed up in the summer? she wondered sinlently, her gaze travelled over Bella's (in her opinion) over dressed body, then down to her bright red pj pants and loose Billy Talant tee shirt. A simple "Hey" answered her cousins quick aknowledgement of her presence. Walking over to the counter she opened the cupboard and grabbed the box of Cheerios. A bowl and a sthingy soon joined the box of cereal on the counter. Before shutting cupboard she turned to Bella " You want some?" she asked, it was the polite thing to do. ((gah! no muse >.<))

"No thanks," she smiled and shook her head sitting up straight on the stool and crosing her ankles under the bottum supporting bar. "I dont eat in the mornings." She said with a sort of half smile, she never ate in the mornings. It made her feel sick for pretty much the rest of the day, besides she never felt up to it. "What do you have planned to do today?" She asked with one eyebrow raied in inquiory. She placed one elbow on the table and set her chin in her palm looking at her cousin with what appeared to be a look of genuine interested on her face.

She rolled her eyes, being sure not to let Bella see. Anna poured her cereal and sat down across from her cousin. When Bella asked the question she realized that she hadn't given it much thought. "Well I'll go out and do my barn chores and probably excercise Fixa," Anna smiled instantly at the thought of her gorgeous bay mare. "Maybe you could show me around town a bit after that?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. Taking a bite of her cereal, she thought about how nice it would be when she could actually talk to her cousin.

"Is that all you do? Exercise your horse?" she paused for a moment after giving the statement some thought. "I mean, I have nothing against that but you really need to start making some more attempts at a social life." The comment wasn't exactly critical. Simply more of a suggestion, though when her cousin asked if she could show her around town a bit after wards she immediately perked up. "Of course!" She said, a wide smile pushing its way onto her face. "I'd love to." She said with a nod glancing at the clock above the door.

Anna frowned at her cousin's sudded stab at her social life. But her tone was not dettered. "I will go and exercise my horse" she said her tone flat as a board. she finished her ceral and got up to wash the bowl. "After that I think a tour would be lovely" she looked over at her cousin. That infectous grin always plastered to her face was enough to make anyone smile. Anna grinned, though she had almost forgotten, this was why she enjoyed time spent with her cousin. Turning on the tap, she quickly finished washing the bowl. She put on her riding boots and coat. turning to grab her helmet she looked over at Bella "You want me to feed the horses?"

Bella shrugged raising her shoulders gently and then letting them fall back into place. "You can if you want." She paused. "Just give me a minute and I'll come out and help." And with that she was gone at a run up two flights of stairs to her bedroom. The constant traveling up and down between three floors (in addition to the large amounts of riding she did) kept her in shape. Grabbing a sweater she pulled it on over her tank top before grabbing her paddock boots and half chaps and running down stairs. Her helmet was hanging on a hook in the coat room, she grabbed that and shoved an apple into her pocket before pulling on her boots and heading out the door. Just slightly out of breath she caught up to her cousin and let herself smile as they made their way to the barn.
(Can you reply into the 'main house' at White Water Equestrian center? I will also post a description of the house there.)
